Crompton Creations began as an expression of creativity from the love of natural wonders of places, people and different cultures intertwined with a sense of adventure. Linda has ventured into pottery, PMC, metalwork, water-color and photography. She has taken lapidary courses.
Experimentation with design and free-form wire-wrapping has developed her uniqueness and display of unusual color combinations involving gemstones (semi-precious and precious) and mixed media.
Linda primarily uses sterling silver in her distinctive line, available online, through juried fine art craft shows along with in-home and corporate events. Custom orders are welcome to suit individual needs, for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and other special events. Every piece of jewelry is handcrafted, and tells a story of where or how it was acquired.
Linda loves to travel and go on mining excursions. Recent adventures have taken her to Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, North Carolina & New York. The element of surprise is a wonderful experience during a “mining dig”. The work can be very tedious but the rewards are worth it.
